Autonomous Tent Cocoon

Had enough of the hectic city life? Looking for a place to reconnect with nature? Check out the Autonomous Tent Cocoon, an exciting new form of Architecture, designed to be a permanent structure, it only takes a few days to raise, requires no foundation or utilities (the tent rests on a raised deck), and can be taken down and transported without any trace on the site it occupied. Developed by legendary architect Harry Gesnar, the spectacular shelter is designed to be installed almost anywhere to provide warmth, comfort, and privacy in the most beautiful locations around the world. The mobile structure shields inhabitants from the elements with a high-tech, translucent fabric that can withstand hurricane-strength winds and heavy snow.

To order your own, get in contact with Autonomous Tent, or if you want to experience it first hand, the TreeBones Resort in Big Sur, offers their very own Autonomous Tent Cocoon as one of their many luxurious lodgings available for rent.
