Dyson Lightcycle Morph
Based on the Dyson Lightcycle task light that the company introduced last year, the new Dyson Lightcycle Morph is a daylight-tracking lamp that only shines as brightly as you need it to. Made of machined metal with a cool minimal industrial look, the Lightcycle Morph is available as a desk lamp or floor lamp, and is designed to emulate the properties of natural daylight, with the ability to mimic shifts in natural light by adjusting its color temperature and brightness. It also emits a warm, orange glow that emulates candlelight. Lightcycle Morph can also be run in various custom or preset modes if you need clean, bright light to stay focused. Being a smart device it obviously comes with an app, that will gather some intel on you such as your age, lifestyle and common tasks to take them into account and customize the light settings to best fit your profile. According to the company, thanks to its special copper rod cooling system, it should last up to 60 years. The desk lamp and floor lamp are available now and retail for $649 and $849 respectively. watch the video below
