UNO Black Edition
The original UNO x BLVCK collaboration became a hugely popular collector’s release, selling through multiple batches with its monochromatic take on the classic card game. The partnership now returns with a new edition that keeps the blacked-out visual identity while adding a more chaotic gameplay twist.
The deck replaces UNO’s familiar bright presentation with matte-black cards, glossy highlights, muted grey details, and minimalist typography. Traditional colors appear only where they are needed to keep the game easy to follow, standing out against the otherwise dark design.
The biggest change is the new Black Out Card. When it is played, everyone must race to slap the card, and the last person to react draws four cards. It also functions as a Wild card, allowing the player who used it to choose the next color. The result is a simple addition that brings a faster, more competitive moment into the familiar UNO format.
Priced at $25, the set includes one complete deck and instructions. The second batch has already sold out, with the next release now available for preorder and shipping expected to begin in early September. It remains a collectible design object, but the Black Out rule gives this edition a genuine reason to return to the table.
