Dyson CameraJet Electric Toothbrush

Dyson is entering oral care with the CameraJet, an electric toothbrush that combines brushing, targeted liquid flossing, and a live camera system in a single device. At its core is a 100k-pixel macro camera powered by Gap Optical Targeting, which analyzes 28 images per second to identify spaces between teeth and trigger a precision jet of mouthrinse where it is needed.

The cleaning system uses a broad conical jet rather than the narrow stream found on many water flossers. Dyson says this wider spray is designed to sweep plaque away while operating at a lower pressure to be gentler on gums and enamel. A 12.5ml anti-gravity tank helps maintain consistent fluid delivery even when the brush is tilted or used horizontally.

Brushing is handled by a contoured dual-bristle head with firmer inner bristles for surface stains and softer outer bristles for the gumline. Variable sonic oscillation adjusts movement as you brush, while an RFID tag in each head tracks usage and alerts you when it is time for a replacement. Dyson says its lab testing showed up to 69% more plaque removal in hard-to-reach areas compared with market-leading premium electric toothbrushes.

The CameraJet also connects to the MyDyson app through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, offering live camera viewing, guided cleaning, coverage maps, and personalized feedback. The camera only operates during live viewing or automatic jetting, and Dyson says images are neither recorded nor stored. The system includes a refill dock that tops up the mouthrinse tank in around three seconds and charges the brush between uses. Launched on September 1, 2026, the CameraJet is priced at $499 and comes in Ceramic Ultra Blue and Ceramic Pink.
