Kachi Lodge

Located in the world’s largest salt flat, there is a new and surreal colony of luxury domed pods that will make your fantasy of living on the Moon almost come true. Set in Uyuni Salt Flats, the most breathtaking natural landscape of Bolivia, Kachi Lodge is the first luxury lodge of its kind on the Bolivian Altiplano. The lodge boasts 6 luxury bedroom domes and an oversized lounge dome set up on a wooden deck above the dazzling surface of the Salar, an impressive arid landscape that can give you the feeling you have traveled to another planet. Each dome has a private bathroom, and a luxurious interior with hemp cushions, comfortable bedding, running hot water, and proper heating. The bed is centrally placed to provide optimal sky viewing. Guests can enjoy a top culinary experience, go mountain-biking and hiking the slopes of Tunupa, explore a giant-cacti covered island, visit nearby archeological sites, and when the lake bed fills with water, guests can paddleboard across the flats.
