Belmond Britannic Explorer Train

Belmond is rewriting the rulebook on rail travel with the Britannic Explorer, the first luxury sleeper train to tour England and Wales. Launching in July, this rolling five-star hotel takes guests on three-night immersive journeys through iconic regions like Cornwall, the Lake District, and Wales, all while celebrating the timeless British tradition of slow travel.

Onboard, 18 elegantly designed cabins, including three Grand Suites, set the tone for an intimate, ultra-luxurious experience. Guests can sip botanical cocktails in the stylish bar car, unwind with treatments in the wellness suite, or savor seasonal tasting menus crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Simon Rogan, highlighting local produce from across the route.

During the day, passengers can opt for off-train excursions to dive into the landscapes, heritage, and culture of each destination. Then it's back on board to dine, relax, and take in the countryside rolling by.

With bespoke interiors inspired by Britain's coast and countryside, and a strong focus on culinary storytelling, the Britannic Explorer isn't just a train, it is a moving portrait of modern British elegance. Starting from £11,000 per person, this is slow travel reimagined for the design lover, the foodie, and the adventurer alike.
