Kings County Distillery is New York City’s oldest operating whiskey distillery, the owners have applied their knowledge, passion and precision into a manual for how to make homemade whiskey - The Kings County Distillery Guide to Urban Moonshining: How to Make and Drink Whiskey. The book´s first chapter is an insight on the history of whiskey from 1640 to today, followed by easy-to-follow guide on how to safely distill whiskey at home, complete with a list of supplies and helpful instructions and useful tips. There is also a section focused on the contemporary whiskey scene, with a list of of micro-distillers, plus recipes for making your own cocktails and meals with the delicious brown stuff.
