Urwerk UR-101 T-Rex
URWERK has reimagined its iconic UR-101 with a bold prehistoric twist, the UR-101 T-Rex Edition. Limited to just 100 pieces, this watch features a scaly, guilloche-patterned bronze case inspired by the formidable Tyrannosaurus Rex. The organic texture, once hidden under glass, is now exposed, inviting touch and adding a raw, primal feel. Over time, the bronze case develops a unique patina, ensuring that no two pieces age alike.
At 41mm wide and 11.86mm thick, the UR-101 T-Rex fits comfortably on the wrist, with an ergonomic curve and an angled display for easy reading. The satellite time display, powered by URWERK's upgraded Caliber UR-1.01V, features two rotating discs that provide a mesmerizing 180-degree readout. The rugged case, inspired by the Millennium Falcon, includes an angled spoiler at 12 o'clock, reinforcing its sci-fi roots.
The back is crafted from PVD-coated steel with integrated lugs for secure adjustment. A black rubber strap with a calfskin lining ensures comfort, while the 30-meter water resistance adds everyday practicality. Its distinctive wandering-hour complication reflects URWERK's blend of avant-garde design and technical mastery.
