Aera x Todd Snyder D-1 Diver
The Aera x Todd Snyder D 1 Diver is what happens when strong design discipline meets real world utility. Todd Snyder teams up once again with AERA Instruments to deliver a modern dive watch that feels intentional, restrained, and genuinely wearable. From our editorial point of view, this is one of those rare collaborations where nothing feels forced.
Inspired by mid century tool watches worn by salvage divers and frogmen, the D 1 Diver keeps things clean while staying technically serious. Each watch is hand assembled in Switzerland and limited to just 25 pieces in Blackout and 25 in Whiteout, with individual numbering and dual branding engraved on the case. That scarcity feels earned, not gimmicky.
The 44mm Grade 2 titanium case is finished in DLC, making it light, tough, and comfortable for daily wear. At just 76 grams without the strap, it wears far easier than the dimensions suggest. A domed sapphire crystal with anti reflective coating, a unidirectional bezel, and 300 meters of water resistance keep it firmly in professional territory.
Inside is the Sellita SW200 1 Elaboré automatic movement with a 38 to 41 hour power reserve. The dished dial design is the standout detail here, removing visual clutter and letting the architecture do the talking. Super LumiNova markers glow green in low light, with subtle orange accents adding contrast without noise.
