Buck Mason x Lee Westerner Collection
Buck Mason and Lee reunite for their second collaboration, reviving one of menswear’s hidden gems - the 1960s Westerner Collection. Originally pitched as "Ranch Born, City Bred,” the Westerner set offered a polished alternative to denim, bridging rugged utility with refined style. Now, it’s back with a modern touch while staying true to its archival roots.
Crafted from midweight Japanese cotton sateen, each piece balances durability with a soft hand feel that develops character over time. The standout Westerner Jacket ($248) mirrors the original silhouette, complete with side adjusters, brass tack buttons, and Lee’s signature zig-zag placket stitch. The Westerner Shirt ($188) features iconic flap pockets, Japanese hardware, and a tailored fit that channels vintage Western style without feeling dated. For the lower half, the Westerner Jeans ($228) deliver a high rise and slim straight leg, finished with authentic details like a Talon 42 zipper and the signature "Lazy S” stitch on the back pockets. A reimagined Bandana ($68) rounds out the capsule with a nod to Lee’s archival artwork.
Shot by photographer Nicholas Maggio and fronted by Mark Wystrach of Midland, the campaign captures golden-era Hollywood nostalgia, underscoring the timeless appeal of Western workwear. With its blend of heritage craftsmanship and contemporary refinement, the Buck Mason x Lee Westerner Collection is more than just a reissue - it’s a piece of American menswear history reimagined for today.
