Unveiling the evolution of marathon dominance, Nike introduces the Alphafly 3 Proto. Following Eliud Kipchoge's groundbreaking two-hour marathon feat in the Alphafly NEXT% prototype, this latest iteration redefines speed. Tested by elite marathoners like Kelvin Kiptum and Sifan Hissan, it boasts a high-stack ZoomX foam midsole, connecting heel to forefoot for seamless transitions. The addition of Air Zoom units enhances energy return, complemented by a wider full-length carbon fiber Flyplate for improved propulsion. The Atomknit 3.0 upper enhances breathability, paired with a redesigned lacing system for elevated comfort. Already proven in record-setting runs, the Alphafly 3 Proto's prototype colorway hits the shelves on January 4, 2024.
