New Balance have teamed up with renown sock makers Stance for two collaborative releases, the 997 sneaker inspired by New Balance’s Boston home base, where foundational brick buildings help erect the elder city, and the 1978 sneaker inspired by Stance’s San Clemente home base, with beach-inspired colors. Both pairs feature the coordinates of each brand’s headquarters inside the cuffs, and come with a pair of matching socks crafted in premium Stance style.
