Portland-based workshop Grovemade have introduced a beautiful new Task Knife, billed as a "monolithic cutting tool designed and manufactured precisely for your desk." Crafted from a single, precision-machined, perfectly-balanced piece of metal, the Grovemade Task Knife is a heirloom-quality tool that is capable of opening boxes, cutting papers and tackling other desktop knife tasks with aplomb. Available in a trio of constructions (brushed stainless steel, matte ceramic-finished stainless steel, or brushed brass) the elegant tool feels excellent in hand and comes with an equally gorgeous all-wood stand to display it on your desk between cuts.
