Porsche Studio x Airstream Travel Trailer
Airstream and Studio F.A. Porsche have teamed up to create a travel trailer concept featuring numerous innovations and improvements to enhance the RV ownership experience. The sleek concept is the first "garageable” Airstream design in the company’s history. Its automatic suspension allows the trailers body to lower, enabling storage in most home garages. Aerodynamic advances include a new rear shape that sheds air while in motion and a flush underside without drag-creating projections. The use of carbon fiber in some components reduces the concepts weight, making it ideal for smaller tow vehicles and EVs.
The interior design maximizes space and uses windows and skylights to create a spacious interior feel that connects owners with the outside. The redesigned rear hatch features a hinge-up hatch and a large tailgate that folds down. This collaboration is the result of an idea to create a stylish camping trailer that can be towed by a small SUV or an electric vehicle and be parked inside a garage when not in use.
