1967 Kaiser-Jeep M715
Blacksmith Garage's awesome Custom Kaiser Jeep M715, is now for sale! The 1967 Kaiser-Jeep M715 is a rare military pickup that has been reborn as one of the most ambitious custom Jeep builds ever attempted. Originally built for service in Vietnam as a rugged 1¼-ton tactical truck, this M715 has been completely reimagined by Blacksmith Garage, who spent over five years and 4,000 hours transforming it into a modern, high-performance machine while honoring its military roots.
At its heart sits a 6.4L fuel-injected Mopar HEMI V8, pushing out 485 horsepower and 472 lb-ft of torque, paired with a 5-speed automatic and Atlas twin-stick transfer case. Heavy-duty Dana 60 axles, Fox coilovers, and 40-inch Maxxis tires ensure it can tackle any terrain, while custom sway bars and hydraulic-assisted steering keep the ride surprisingly composed.
The body, refinished in Military Gray, is fitted with custom bumpers, a removable targa-style roof, LED lighting, and a Warn winch. Inside, the truck swaps battlefield barebones for comfort, featuring full-grain leather upholstery, Classic Instruments gauges, Vintage Air climate control, and a Rockford Fosgate sound system. Even the dash nods to aviation heritage with a WWII B-17-inspired design.
With just 161 test miles, this one-of-a-kind build, dubbed ANV-KJ1, is more than a resto-mod. It is a fusion of military history, craftsmanship, and modern engineering. In a world full of Broncos, FJs, and Defenders, this custom Kaiser Jeep M715 stands alone as a true show-stopper.
