Jeep Five-Quarter
For the 53rd annual off-road fan fest in Moab, Utah, Jeep has collected a bunch of sweet pickup-truck concepts to celebrate the return of the famous Gladiator pickup truck. But, the star of the show, is the only one not based on a current Gladiator pickup or Wrangler, it is instead this beastly custom based on the 1968 Jeep M715 military truck. The Jeep M-715 Five-Quarter started out as a Craigslist purchase, which was stripped to the bare bones, keeping all the classic styling of the donor vehicle, but fitted with modern components that vault it into the present day. Under the hood is a crazy 707-horsepower 6.2L supercharged "Hellcrate" HEMI V8 engine that is paired with a vintage 727 three-speed automatic transmission and can supposedly light up all four wheels on demand. Other notable features include a full carbon-fiber front end, a 6-foot custom-fabricated aluminum bed, a heavy-duty link/coil suspension system, and 20-inch beadlock wheels are wrapped with large 40-inch tires. This thing is bonkers and we love it!
