Emory 1960 Porsche 356

Rod Emory restores Porsche 356 coupes and convertibles at his shop in northern Los Angeles. His company "Emory Motosports” are specialists in customising the Porsche 356s since the late 1980s. The latest masterpiece to roll out of their workshop is this beautiful custom 1960 Porsche 356 commissioned by musician John Oates, the legendary Hall & Oates guitarist.  This modern take on the classic sports car has been updated with some premium flourishes for the exterior and interior, plus several bespoke modifications throughout. Beneath the elegant and impossibly minimal exterior lies a 200hp Outlaw-4 engine that is based on the Porsche 3.6L 964 engine, which is mated to an early Porsche 911 901L aluminum-case 5-speed transmission. Other specs include the Emory four-wheel disc-brake system and Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires as well as bespoke powder-coated black alloy wheels. The gorgeous inside features Hydes cognac leather, Speedster-style seats, German square-weave carpet and a removable roll bar. The whole thing was finished in a stunning one-of-a-kind graphite grey metallic RM color.
