ECD Project Family Vacation
Project Family Vacation is the name of the latest masterpiece to roll out of the East Coast Defender Florida-based workshop. This meticulously-rebuilt Land Rover Defender 90 boasts a new body kit, an interior makeover, and a modern V8, making it the ultimate summer adventure vehicle with some serious off-roading gear. The beast is now powered by a 6,2-liter LS3 V8 from Corvette paired with a six-speed manual transmission, and is packed with plenty of modern-day features. A spare wheel now resides on the hood, additional lights adorn both bumpers and the roof, and the new winch at the front end is ready to pull you out of trouble. There is also an upgraded Fox suspension system and a set of high-performance brakes that could outdo a modern sports car. In the interior, the seats have been wrapped in leather, and it has been equipped with an NRG ST-065 steering wheel with a Land Rover center cap, nostalgia VT Series gauges, and an aftermarket stereo system, complete with a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay. The British SUV is finished in a gorgeous Coniston Green, contrasted by the 8-spoke steel wheels painted in satin black and wrapped in BFGoodrich all-terrain tires.
