Caselani Citroen AMI

Caselani has given the quirky Citroen Ami a charming retro makeover with its Type-Ami conversion kit, transforming it into a miniature tribute to the legendary 1947 Citroen Type H van. Designed by David Obendorfer in collaboration with Citroen's Style Centre, this nostalgic upgrade replaces the Ami's standard panels with ribbed fiberglass bodywork, mimicking the vintage van's signature corrugated look.

Despite the dramatic aesthetic shift, the Type-Ami remains mechanically unchanged, preserving the electric microcar's lightweight agility. Available in nine colors with custom paint options, the kit includes all necessary fittings for easy installation on both new and used Amis.

With a starting price of €4,440 for the kit alone (€6,040 with assembly and paint), this neo-retro transformation offers a unique blend of classic style and modern efficiency. Whether for city cruising or a mobile coffee stand, the Type-Ami turns heads with its timeless appeal.
