Instead of starting from an impossible-to-find original, Aerfal builds the AE94 on a Porsche 914 chassis, keeping the car’s mid-engine layout while introducing a bespoke 4.0L air-cooled flat-eight pushing out around 400 horsepower. Developed for raw analog performance rather than sheer numbers, the engine is crafted to deliver the visceral sound and feel of Porsche’s golden era.

Backing that power is a team of elite collaborators: Brembo supplies the brakes, Bilstein handles damping, and BBS and Michelin round out the rolling setup. Inside, Aerfal promises a cabin that mixes retro craftsmanship with modern precision, featuring vegetable-tanned leather, beeswax-treated surfaces, titanium accents, and gauges designed with a "prestigious watchmaker.”

Still in development, the AE94 is shaping up to be more than just a restomod, it’s a reimagined tribute to Porsche’s racing DNA.
