Mercedes Electric G-Class

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled the much-anticipated electric version of its iconic G-Class, blending classic design with cutting-edge electric technology. The G 580 with EQ Technology boasts four electric motors generating 579 hp and 859 lb-ft of torque, promising a thrilling driving experience.

Powered by a 116 kWh battery pack integrated into the ladder frame, the electric G-Class offers a range of around 240 miles and supports fast charging, reaching 80% capacity in just 32 minutes.

Maintaining its off-road prowess, the G 580 introduces innovative features like "G-TURN" and "G-STEERING" for enhanced maneuverability on rugged terrain. Visually, it retains the G-Class's rugged charm while integrating modern touches like a raised hood and flared wheel arches.

Inside, the cabin is adorned with advanced tech, including dual 12.3" displays and an enhanced voice assistant.

Scheduled for release later this year, the Mercedes Electric G-Class marks a new chapter in the evolution of luxury off-road vehicles, combining legendary performance with eco-conscious innovation.
