Oru Kayak Lake

Oru have presented their lightest, sleekest (and cheapest) folding kayak ever! The popular origami-inspired kayak has been sized down for the everyday commute, and takes it from the trunk of your car to floating on the water in just 2 minutes. The nine-foot-long Oru Kayak Lake weighs only 18 pounds but can hold up to 250 pounds of paddler and gear. The real magic though is that the whole thing folds up into a neat box shape, just like origami. The Lake is available for pre-order on Kickstarter and is set for delivery this August. watch the video below

BLINK STEADY BIKE LIGHT

Blink Steady is another successful project funded by Kickstarter. The bike light is not only cool and elegant, it is also "clever", it turns on automatically and shuts off when you’re not riding! This is possible because of the integrated accelerometer that knows when you’re moving. It also features a light sensor that detects when it’s dark enough to turn on. Blink Steady is made from solid aluminum and is hard to steal, it is locked to your seatpost. A "no b...

ROAMR JEEP GLADIATOR TOMAHAWK

Troy and Tony, co-founders of RoamR, build rigs for discriminating customers. The latest creation to roll out of their workshop is this ultra-capable off-road vehicle based on a 1974 Jeep J20 pickup. Dubbed the Tomahawk, the beastly rig was designed as a self-contained exploration machine that could be driven out to the far reaches of the desert and camped in. The guys popped a 401 V8 under the hood, modernized it with new Metalcloak suspension lifting it six inches...
