Sugru | Moldable Glue
Sugru is the handyman´s new helper. It´s a silicone based material, developed by an Irish team of product designers, and its uses are endless! On your fingers it feels like play dough, it´s a silicone based material, that when cured becomes a little bit harder, although maintaining some flexibility and a rubbery soft touch feel, ideal to apply on the things that you don´t to get away from your hands, keeping the grip comfortable. It hardens simply by being in contact with air, so really simple to shape it and let it acquire the form you need. It also works on a wide thermal range, from -50ºC to +180ºC. Also amazing is the fact that it bonds to almost any surface, from plastic, fabric, metal, glass…you can use it to repair engines, to fix electric cables, to shape the handle of anything to a perfect hand fit. It´s sold in a wide range of colors or in plain black or plain white. And yes, Sugru is removable. watch the video
