Hyzer Mini Titanium Hatchet
The Hyzer Mini Titanium Hatchet from Exceed Designs redefines what a compact camp axe can be. After nearly three years of research and refinement, the result is a fully skeletonized 6AL 4V Grade 5 titanium handle CNC machined from a solid block, delivering exceptional strength with minimal weight. Titanium’s natural vibration damping properties enhance control and comfort, especially during repeated strikes.
At its core is a modular nested head system that allows users to swap between light, medium, and heavy D2 steel heads depending on the task. The tempered D2 blade, hardened to 60 to 61 HRC, offers impressive edge retention and durability. Finish options include PVD or DLC coatings for added wear resistance and a refined aesthetic.
The Hyzer is available in two handle lengths, 9.75 inches for full leverage or 8.15 inches for a more compact carry. Customization extends further with optional 550 paracord wraps, future scale options, and a choice of Horween leather or Kydex sheath. Each head is secured with custom T10 Torx screws for a solid and redundant attachment system.
