Spotify Car Thing

Spotify has just released its first piece of hardware, a smart player for you car called "Car Thing”. The in-car entertainment system is aimed at users who want a "more seamless" and personalized in-car listening experience, and seems to be meant for people who have no built-in infotainment systems or phone connections in their cars. The dash-mounted music and podcast player can be controlled by voice, but also has has a dial, touch screen and preset buttons for physical interaction. It also features four preset buttons along the top that allow you to save your favorite music, podcasts and news for one-touch access. The device can connect to your car stereo wirelessly via Bluetooth or wired with an aux or USB jack, and comes with three different types of dash and vent mounts to choose from, a car charger, and a USB-C cable.
