Boston Dynamics Spot Robotic Dog

You can now buy Boston Dynamics´ Spot four-legged robotic dog (if you have $75,000)! We have loved seeing how much this Boston Dynamics project has progressed and evolved over the years. Seeing it now become commercially available is surreal. The future it has opened up is fantastic, the company have spent decades creating and refining robots with advanced mobility, dexterity and intelligence that can solve a broad range of real world problems. Meant for commercial and industrial use, the dog-like Spot is fully programmable, it can walk on legs with unprecedented ease, climb stairs or navigate across more uneven terrain, and handle loads of up to 30 pounds. Spot has a top speed of 3 mph, a runtime of 90 minutes per charge, and has a IP54 certification to protect it against dust and rain. With its flexible API and payload interfaces, Spot can be customized for a variety of applications. watch the video below
