Ecoute TH2 Headphones
Most headphones are designed to be convenient. The Ecoute TH2 Headphones are designed to be complete. Instead of mimicking a hi fi system through digital tricks, the TH2 builds one directly into the headset itself.
At the heart of the TH2 sits a real Korg Nutube 6P1 dual triode vacuum tube, acting as a true analog preamp stage. This is not an emulation or DSP effect. Each channel receives its own dedicated triode, preserving harmonic richness and natural warmth in a way traditional solid state designs cannot replicate. Even order harmonics restore body and depth, delivering a presentation that feels closer to in room listening than typical headphones.
The architecture continues with true dual mono amplification. From DAC to driver, the left and right channels remain fully separated, eliminating crosstalk and maintaining precise stereo imaging. A high resolution dual core DAC supports up to 32 bit 384 kHz decoding, feeding 40 mm titanium coated drivers through fully discrete Class A B amplification. The result is deeper bass, extended treble and a wide, stable soundstage with real spatial layering.
Noise control has also been refined. The second generation TH2 features improved active noise canceling, a more natural transparency mode and enhanced passive isolation. Additional shielding reduces RF interference and microphonic noise around the tube stage, lowering the overall noise floor while preserving signal integrity.
Wireless listening does not mean compromise. Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC support delivers high resolution audio at up to 990 kbps, alongside AAC and SBC compatibility. For purists, wired options include USB C for lossless digital playback and a 3.5 mm analog input, active or passive.
Customization is handled through the Ecoute Tuning App, offering eight fully parametric bands with up to plus or minus 12 dB per band. Adjustments are saved directly to the headset at firmware level, ensuring clean tuning without added distortion. Modular construction with interchangeable pads and headband wraps adds longevity, while a redesigned hybrid suspension headband improves comfort and weight distribution.
Machined from solid aluminum billets, the TH2 avoids plastic shortcuts in favor of premium materials and long term durability. With over 20 hours of battery life, hybrid ANC, and a build philosophy rooted in proper hi fi architecture, the Ecoute TH2 stands apart as the only headphones to integrate a genuine vacuum tube preamp and dual mono signal path into a portable format.
For listeners who understand the difference between hearing music and experiencing it, the TH2 offers a system level approach in a headset that travels anywhere.
