Sitka CrossCurrent Collection
Finally! Sitka finally made a fishing line, and it’s everything we hoped for. The Sitka Gear CrossCurrent Collection marks a major moment for the brand and, in our view, a very natural one. Sitka has spent decades earning trust in the hunting world, and this first move into fishing feels thoughtful rather than rushed. The CrossCurrent line brings the same system driven mindset to the water, focusing on protection comfort and durability instead of trends.
At the center of the collection is the CrossCurrent wading system. The waders are built with four layers of Gore Tex Pro and feel genuinely dialed for anglers who spend long days moving through changing conditions. Smart pocket placement integrated knee protection and serious weather resistance make these some of the most confidence inspiring waders we have seen in a first launch. Sitka clearly knew where anglers have been compromising and addressed it directly.
The CrossCurrent wading boots follow the same logic. Lightweight but supportive, they offer a stable ankle feel and reliable traction on slick riverbeds. Aluminum cleats quick drying materials and a cushioned midsole make them comfortable well past the first few hours.
What stands out most is restraint. Sitka did not try to cover every niche at once. Instead, the CrossCurrent Collection feels purpose built for anglers who fish often and expect their gear to keep up. From our perspective, this is a strong start and a sign that Sitka Fish is here for the long run.
