Floating Skate Ramp

Remember the spectacular Floating Cinema, an auditorium raft for watching movies in the open, surrounded by an amazing scenery? What if you could skate on a floating ramp whilst admiring the beautiful landscape surrounding you? That is exactly what professional skateboarder Bob Burnquist dreamt of when asked by Visit California to help them with a campaign to promote Lake Tahoe. This awesome skate ramp was built by a skilled team of craftsmen and launched on Lake Tahoe, it took 300 man hours, 1250 screws and a lot of engineering to make it stable and ensure that it didn’t sink. Watch the video of Burnquist shredding the ramp under the California sun and surrounded by a breathtaking scenery.
