1965 Manx Dune Buggy

The iconic Meyers Manx Dune Buggy was designed initially for desert racing by boat builder and surfer Bruce Meyers back in 1964. It quickly became popular for dominating dune racing in its time, and was eventually also released in a street-oriented model. At the time, as other firms rushed to replicate the design and layout, hundreds of thousands of Manx-style buggies soon flooded the market. In total, only approximately 7,000 original Manx dune buggies were produced from 1964-1971, including this pristine example 1965 Meyers Manxter 2+2 that was subject to a ground-up restoration, and comes with a Meyers Manx registry authentication plaque, identifying it as number "0461".
