U.S. brand Shelby Supercars will launch it´s new supercar, it will be the world´s fastest production car built (The Bugatti Veryon Supersport currently holds the record). The SSC Ultimate Aero II, is a supercar to rival the 1200 hp of the Veyron SuperSport, According to sources close to the brand, the model will have a 6.8 liters twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a power close to 1400 hp. With a body made of carbon fiber, the supercar weighs only 2,600 pounds, allowing it to reach 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and reach 275 mph top speed.

The super sports car market is increasingly competitive. The newest member of this segment comes from Slovenia, the Shayton Equilibrium. The model has not yet been produced, but the car includes a central V12 engine, capable of generating 1,099 horsepower and 94.8 Nm of torque! With only 1.200kg, thanks to the use of titanium and carbon in the construction of the chassis, the supercar can go from 0-60mph sprint time of 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 250mph! There will only be 20 units made available, Shayton is already accepting preorders for the car, so get your check book out fast!

Designed by Fuse Project, the Mission One Premier Limited Edition (PLE) electric superbike is an all-electric bike with a 150 mile range and takes to charge no longer than 2 hours out of a 240 volt outlet, or 8 hours on a 120 volt outlet. The bike has a blistering performance, with the ability to pull off power wheelies at 80 mph and achieve a 161 mph top speed! Among its technical advances, are a regenerative braking system, which helps recharge the battery, and a data acquisition system and wireless communication capability, so riders can capture and analyze real time ride data from a laptop computer.

James Bond eat your heart out! After years of testing and prototypes, the New zealand company Martin Aircraft will finally launch this year the Martin Jet Pack. With a production limited to 500 units at a cost of $80,000, jetpack is produced with composite carbon fiber, driven by a V4 engine with 150kW of power. It has a range of 30min/50km, speed 96km/h and flight altitude of 2438m. Check out the amazing video.

We have seen the ancient Japanese art of origami applied to sheets of paper for creating birds, plants and other shapes, but we never thought we´d see it applied to a real size kayak! The Oru Kayak by designer Anton Willis is a compact and lightweight(25 lbs) boat which folds like an origami and fits into a small suitcase. It is quick to assemble(only 5 min) and is fast, stable and handles incredibly well. The ambitious project is on kickstarter, and judging by the amount pledged should be available soon. Three letters are all it takes to make car fans’ hearts beat faster: SLR. In the 1950s the Mercedes-Benz SLR 300 celebrated victory after victory with the British racing driver Stirling Moss. It does 0-60 in under 3.5 seconds, top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h), has a million dollar price tag and extremely limited (only 75 will be produced).

Zagato and BMW have teamed up again to create the Zagato sports coupe for the Villa dEste Elegance Contest. Design wise, the large front hood stands out, as do the oversized headlights and the large grids. The back is reminiscent of the previous Z4 M Coupe, and profile ...a little Ferrari FF. To mark the 65th anniversary of Land Rover, the firm have announced a special edition Land Rover Defender LXV (Roman numeral for 65). Based on the standard Defender 90 Hard Top model , it is equipped with a 2.2-litre diesel engine that develops 120bhp and 360Nm of torque, linked to a 6-speed manual. The LXV will be limited to just 65 units and is available in beautiful Santorini Black with contrasting Corris Grey roof, grille and headlight surrounds.

Looks like science fiction but it is not. This glider is the work of aeronautical engineer Aki Suokas from Finland and has just been presented publicly. The FlyNano is made entirely of carbon fiber, takes off and lands on water, it can be considered a mini-hylane. It can be purchased in all-electric or combustion engine, powered by gasoline. It can reach 140 kilometers per hour and fly up to three kilometers altitude.The first deliveries in the U.S. market are planned for three months from now.
