Giro Apple Slicer

This simple, minimalist apple slicer, winner of the Red Dot Design award is named Giro. The clever apple peeler was designed by Christina Schäfer a German designer. It cuts apples in a spiral-form surrounding the core in one smooth fluid motion. Giro creates gorgeous, perfectly executed apple spirals perfect for using in recipes, snacks or garnishes.

It has original objects scattered around, they are functional as well as aesthetic. The giant pill, for example, is the childrens bathroom.
